a few general questions
a few general questions
1. Can I get away with running pump gas with 11.5:1 compression with aluminum heads? What is the highest compression I can run off of 91 octane?
2. If I were to remove the passenger side accessories: smog, tensioner, compressor, and run a serpentine belt around the crank, water pump, alternator, and power steering, would the water pump have sufficient contact to turn well?
3. Anyone with borla exhaust try 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile runs with different plates open and have any success?

As far as 11:1 with pump gas. Your going to need a midgrade fuel minimum. For running 12:1 I can get away with 91 and ocataine booster becasue 91 is max octaine. Also your going to have to set the timing by vaccume, max then drop 2in. Thats the only way Ive found reliable to keep out of detonation with a high compression engine and pump gas.
