I have a 90 Camaro RS that is my daily driver.

As I was giving it some gas to get up to highway speed it died mid drive.

We found that the Throttle cable end had snapped, so we ordered the replacement.

Since replacing end the car cranks but wont start.

It looks like all of the elctrical components are working, headlights, accessory etc.

Could this be sensor related? Any ideas?

 

At this point, it could be anything.


Start with basic troubleshooting. Check for: spark at the plugs, injector pulses at the injectors, and fuel pressure. The results will give you some direction from which to proceed.

 

The snapped cable should not have shut you down. You'd be stuck at idle. Did something let go on your throttle body?
