It sounds like I'll be doing motor mounts to eliminate any possibility of issue. Doing some research im aware this will be unfun. Looking to not remove anything as my head isn't big enough for all this ache.

I came across this thread "Easyest way to change motor mounts" and an old moderator, Aperion posted this (post 11)

Has anyone else tried this method? Is it possible with the engine installed? Looking for the path of least resistance here, am willing to get creative.

Sounds like the torque arm mount, not a motor mount. Motor mounts are a bit more fun than that.

 

I am in the same boat. Want to replace mine and do it as easy as possible. Had the engine out last year, didn't think to do them then.

 

They pretty simple to do. I jacked the car up, put it on stands, un did the mount nuts, jacked the engine up a little (tpi car will have to have the silver plate over the distributor removed) and keep an on on how close the distributor gets to the under side of the cowl, then the mounts will just slide out, reverse the steps for install. Did mine in under an hour and was the first time doing them, really not as hard as it might seem.
