1988 T/A 5.7L engine stalls after start. Any ideas?

Hi all,

My 1988 Trans Am is repeatedly stalling after start. It’ll idle for about 2 seconds then stall. This issue occurred slowly over time. I’d occasionally experience a stall after backing out and shifting into drive. This occurred over months, probably 10 times.

This most recent time I was driving the vehicle, going about 45, slowed into a turn, and the vehicle stalled out while moving. I was able to get the vehicle started and moving but now the vehicle’s engine will not idle at all.

Engine is a 5.7L small block, vehicle originally had the 5.0. Has about 33,000 miles on it now.

Engine codes are reading 32 and 44.

From a visual inspection it seems all vacuum hoses are intact and attached. Not sure how to proceed from here.

any ideas on possible issue(s) or similar experiences and how you solved it?
