How Could this have happened!!!!!
Today, i got beat by a full car length up to 135 mph. The problem is that i was beat by a 2000 honda accord v6.... that LOOKED totally stock. I am hoping that this was some sleeper car, and not a bone stock honda 'family' car. Please let it be modded!

There's no way a stock one could have beat you unless you spun through all the gears. Probably should have posted this on the street race board though. Probably had at least a Turbo on the car.

OH, we have that board... i guess i should've looked more carefully. Anyhow, i don't think that he had a turbo, i didn't hear anything unusual. Damn, i hope your right.

You know I hear people all the time say, I raced this Turbo car cause I heard the turbo. Personally I don't see how, I believe them, but man with my exhaust the would have to be a loud turbo.
What 1/4 mile times do you run? Accord V6's are fairly quick, I've heard. I can usually hear a pop off valve on a turbo car from a hundred or more feet away, and that's with the radio on in a noisy old pickup.

I have only ran it once, but my times were terrible. I ran in the 15's. Then my friend who has been racing for years with AOD's, ran an amazing.... now i hate to say this because it sounds impossible for a stock 3rd gen, but he ran a 13.9 @ 101

I own an 87 305 iroc, it runs low 15's. i also have an integra GSR, and I hate to say it, but the integra is much faster than my iroc. the teg is my winter car, so no cracks. when i'm done with my iroc, it'll do it.

I lost to a grand national once, you can definitely hear the turbo. It was right after I got my new tranny so may car was shifting great, and we both punched it at about 40. My car downshifted and scratched into second, and I pulled about 2 car lengths ahead of him, but then I heard the most ***-awful whining noise I have ever heard, and I look in the side view mirror and his car looks like the front end is flying off the ground. I was going like 60, and he must have blown by me doin at least 80... Thats why turbo lag sux... just when you thing the race is over..... :P
BTW, you can hear almost any turbo when the car shifts beacuse it usually activates the wastegate and makes a loud noise like compressed air
