Bad Spark Plug Wires????

i have a 1990 camaro rs 305 tbi all stock but when i looked at my spark plug wire they are 7mm and i think that is what making my car's engine miss and spit and sputter and jump. i belive they are over heating i think i am supose to have 8mm spark plug wires on it. if any body can tell me what is makeing my car do this or if this is the right spark plug wires. reply back. if you need more info i will give you more.

7mm wires on a stock engine is fine. If the wires are bad then they would obviously cause problems
