Installed motor and tranny mount. Many Problems

First off the engine seems like a inch higher. Yes i in stalled them right and I stil get this problem. Second of all the headers y pipe is almost impossible to bolt up to the headers now because the end of the pipe is right up against the floor boards. I installed the tranny mount with the plate. Should I remove the plate so the back end drops a little giveing me a little more play? Any Other Suggs?

old mounts will make the engine sit low, now you have new ones in its making it sit at the correct height, you'll just have to goof around with it a little to get everything to work.

The ES mount is 1/4" taller then the stock mount, I shimmed my crossmember with 4 - .250" electric motor shimms between the frame and crossmember , I had no problemss. (the 1/4" difference is with the preload plate on).

I know I read the same thing before and i remeber you saying it was at stock height. They look good in the mounts and everythign is lined up right , but now instead of having to lower the STD 1/4 I have to raise it above the normal height of 1/4. I dont know why. I now really wished I would have went with factory mounts. This makes me unhappy. Cars almost completed and now I cant get my exhaust on because the flange on the header is jammed up against teh X member now
