ok .. I tried my non drop base element and it touches the coil and the map sensor.. I figure If I can raise the tb 1/2" I should be ok.. of course that's witout using that crappy spacer ring on the tb.. now my question is.. 1/2 tbi spacer do the job? I'm using an edelbrock 3704 intake with 3702 cam and 6085 heads with their custom chip.. anyone see this being a problem? I really don't want to use that crappy spacer ring..

 

All that does is shroud the injectors and force air in from the top...I say avoid it is you can...just my $.02
