MSD and heat problems
hey,
i mounted my 6AL box in the driver side fender well (like where a CAI would go) and it looks trick! But, in stop and go traffic i gets HOT AS HELL underneath the hood. I popped my hood after a nice highway cruise and it was cool to the touch. I popped my hood after some traffic and it was hot...REALLY HOT!! I couldnt touch it for more than 2 seconds. Is it ok for these boxes to get that hot? I have heard from a friend that he has seen many "burn up" and quit b/c of the heat. Is it OK for it to be there? I see a lot of guys running them under the hood in place of the washer bottle, etc...and I KNOW it gets just as hot there...EVEN hotter actually....whatcha think?
