Fan switch
Just out of curiosity, should a fan switch have rtv sealent applied to it prior to install? I know silicone makes a good insulator. Would this interfer w/ the switch being able to close the circuit for the relay?

A little bit wont hurt it but it wont do much and is ugly. If your concerned about a leak because some threads are screwed up try some locktight or if there really bad just get some teflon tape from a hardware store.
