Uh Oh, Smoke

I have a problem with my car, it only happens once every cool/ hot cycle. As soon as the car reaches its normal operating temperature and at idle only it will smoke quite noticeably. The smoke is very light colored, but it stops quickly.

Any ideas? The #1 spark plug has a tendency to foul.

sounds like a weak head gasket on that side... once the head heats up it expands and closes the leak. I'm assuming the smoke is a light white... not blue or black?

the smoke is very light colored. I need to replace the valve seals.

Is it a PITA?
