Cooling? What is better?

I have a stock clutched mechanical pulling cooling fan now and shroud. I also have an electric fan and shroud from a Camaro. Which one of these is better for cooling? Gas Mileage? Overall? Is it worth swap?

Thanks

In my experience, a mechanical fan always outcools an electric fan. Most people don't think the increase in accessory drag is worth it though, when an electric fan can cool the motor adequately. If you already have both, why not try the swap out just for the heck of it and see which you like better? You may or may not notice a SOTP difference (like it'll rev faster), and if it still cools okay, then keep it on.

The proper electric fan setup will always out cool a manual fan.
