My car, 91 305 tbi, has been gicing me starting problems for the first time. I get a second or two delay after I turn the key. It also is cranking for about 5 or 6 seconds. Its never done this before. Any suggestions?

 

check and clean all teh electrical connections (batt. terms., ground wire, ect.). Me and my brother have had 4 f-bods. b/w us and every one had crummy connections that caused hard starting. Once the connections are clean, the starter will work like new. If that doesnt fix it, then the starter is probably bad.
