can a 89 TPI intake fit on '86 heads?

can a 89 TPI intake fit on '86 heads?

hey guys..

i know a pre-centerbolt intake will fit on centerbolt heads with some slotting of the intake boltholes.. can you go the reverse? centerbolt intake onto non-centerbolt heads..

Yep, works fine.
Just redrill the inner intake bolt hole angles.
I've got an 88GTA TPI on a 400 small-block and the stock 400 heads.
