Who knows if it works but the intake runners alone are worth more then that! I bid on it twice but for the price its going to take to put that on my car,m well I can do alot more with that money.

Of course "it works". It's a bunch of pieces of aluminum. The only thing that couldn't "work" on it would be the injectors. For that price, I'd be all over it.

I am thinking about it... but this is going to just feed the fire for the bidding. I better get pistons for the 400 anyway!

Try www.dirttrackthunder.com for a good price on a whole rotating assembly or just pistons for a good price.

I don't understand why people bid when there is still a while left on ebay auctions. I wait as long as I can (i.e. the last 10 seconds of the auction) and bid the highest amount that I am willing to pay. If my bid is not the high bid then oh well; I wasn't willing to pay that much. And since you only pay one increment above the high bidder (assuming you become the new high bidder), it's not like you can get messed over by putting in the higher amount at which you value the item you're bidding on.

cort,
I totally agree.
Everytime I see some auctions that have 5-6 days left and already have bids - it amazes me.
I've bought some things on eBay, and always bid in the last minute.

That's the other advantage of that approach.

Of course the other side to that story is I bid my max amount when I see something I want (no waiting for last minute). I laughed at a guy using the "last minute" technique because he kept bidding in small increments and never did outbid me. Time ran out on him!
