Real Quick Simple Advice

Can anyone tell me how to get my dipstick tube out? is there a bolt or something that holds it down in there? Also how would i go about checking to see if my oil pressure sender is leaking oil? Thanks guys.

Primer,

The dipstick tube is generally swaged on teh end that is inseted into the case, and is just pressed into place with an adhesive/sealant in the gaps. You usually have to get a little heat on the tube and grip it with pliers to get it to break free, then it can be pulled out.

As for the oil pressure sender, just clean it off thoroughly and monitor it for a few days. Leaks should be pretty apparent.
