...and the four-holer was the base engine when the car was first made in 1982, but not mant cars actually got them. IIRC, the four was no longer available after 1984.

Face it - he's just jealous and has power-envy...

BAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!!!

Yea, they made thirdgens with FWD. They made them right alongside the FWD Corvettes and Mustangs. Not to mention all those FWD 1st, 2nd, and 4th gens. FWD is the way, my brother, thats where the real power is!

The new mustang hass been unveiled and it is based on the thunderbird platform i.e fully indendent RWD suspension. The new Camaro will likely be based on the CTS platform.

nah the ssr is just a little thing to fill the void and that it gives old camaro buyers, somethings to have till the come back with a killer camaro... but i heard that the new engines might be DOHC... and IRS... it will be based on a smaller, less expensive cts or "sigma" platform. I dont care, when it comes back out in 2005, and if it aint frd, i will be at the front of the line my friends... hope to see you there!!!
