I've finally got some sunny days so i got outside and I've almost got my Trans Am back on the road, but its hasnt been running for over a year...i put a new battery in and the engine turned over but wouldnt start, im wondering what i should do to the carb, and the ignition system to get it running again like plugs, cap, rotor, wires...and anything else that would be good to get my engine running again... i have a 84 trans am with a 305 LG4 "thumbs down"...thanx for any help....

 

oh and all ive done so far to the car since my dad gave it to me is, new vavle covers and gaskets, oil and filter change, tranny fluid and filter change, anti-freeze fluid change, engine cleaning. and interior cleaning...

 

or try a little starting fluid.. see if you can get some type of sound like firing.
