Long time reader, first post. So I have a good friend of mine who has a 300c with the hemi and he is always talking **** on my old camaro and how he would drag me up and down the street. So finally I was able to get him to run me.
We are turning on to an empty highway and he doesn't honk or anything and just takes off. Im already a car back because of his jump. Anyway I stab the throttle and we are off running. Slowly but certainly surely I am reeling him in, couldn't have been more obvious. So as I pass him he lets off. As I chalk that up as a win he pulls up and says how he started braking and was letting off because there was a truck in front of us. (there was about an 1/8 of mile down) I call bullshit and I think he is mad I drug his newer car with more horses. Thoughts?? Did he let off? Shouldnt his big hemi have walked me from a roll? (sure as hell didnt look like it)
