I would love to attend, but there is no way my Iroc will be done by then! So if I can get the time to do it I will be arriving in a rental since the DD only gets 11mpg lol.

I'm getting closer, but not close enough, fast enough.
But it will be done right.

Nick fit metal, Craig welded metal and I played bitch work doing all the cleaning, prepping and primering. We had an assembly line going.
Nothing running yet, you see where the Formula is, if I get the TTA the trans will just **** me off and I don't have time to waste in between to get the GTA running.
If I can get 2 sold days ironed out with Nick and Craig we will easily have the floor done. Its just really hard with our schedules and their metal work is far superior to mine lol.
Engine bay is completely cleaned up and sitting in primer as well now.

I'm not sure if this car will have the Heidts IRS by Expo time, but it will have it eventually.

I think its safe to say. Its finally going to show up. Dyno is still questionable. I'm not sure if I'll be happy enough with its state of tune to put it on the dyno for a flogging. Its still rich down low and lean up top according to the long term fuel trims. Cash reserves are a little empty right now, and a Wideband still needs to be ordered. Trying to stay away from the credit card and do it all cash.
Today I visited the junk yard to get rid of that crappy POS Lokar dipstick for a real GM product. Stole it from a Buick Roadmaster.

It'll show up cammin' but I don't think I'm going to dyno it.
I'm still under 100 miles on the setup and fixing things as they pop-up. I did however defeat the wiring issue that was preventing me from having a working factory oil pressure gauge finally. It FINALLY works. 15lbs @ 900rpm when warm.
I did however drive it to work today. Only 69 miles on the clock so far.

You know, I don't want to overpromise turnout or anything, but I'm getting the feeling from Expo's FB page, this forum and the calls I've been getting by people I know, that we are going to have a buttload of 3rd gens there Saturday.
Can't wait to see old friends, meet new ones and check out each other's cars!!!!!
