What are you guys bringing to the Expo? Is it finished? What needs done before summer? Post up in here.
I'll start. I'm planning to bring my Camaro this year. It is pretty much ready to go but I'm going with a new tire and rim setup this year. I have some 18x10.5 C5 Z06 wheels that I'm going to mount some new tires on. I'm still shopping but the Michelin Pilot Super Sports, and Yokahama ADVAN Sports are looking like the top two candidates. However, I'm also considering getting stupid and putting some r-compound street tires on like the Perelli P-Zero Corsa System. If any of you have input on those tires let me know. Here is a picture of the car is race trim with the wheels I'm going to run on the street now. Should I leave them gray or paint them satin black?

That depends on if he got the grass out of it from last year.
As for me? This year I'd be lucky to bring myself with the way work is scheduling things. So I may just be admiring pictures from TGF and TGE.

Planning on bringing my 89 RS. Need to put the stage 3 T56 Magnum trans in, Strange S60 rearend, UMI Torque arm, BMR adjustable panhard bar, Wilwood big brake kits front and rear, Wilwood master and prop valve and get the new ZR1 wheels on, and subframe connectors, then I think I'm about ready. Hopefully get an aluminum radiator with dual fans before as well as painting under the hood silver to match the outside.

I was telling Jeremy, it took me 2-3 weeks of cleaning, disassembly, and prodigious use of a leaf blower and compressed air to clear it of all it's grass clippings.
Anyway, hope you can make it, Bill.

We'd love to have you. You may remember last time we met. You and Justin98Formy met myself and BIGMODS. We were in St. Louis on the Power tour putting a fuel pump in his 87 IROC road race car. Come on up, this event WILL be worth the drive!

I have a friend that lives up there so it could be a fun thing.
I do remember that, only wish I could have continued on the trip with everyone...
I live between the Champaign and STL stop on the tour this yr soo if you are going and have issues, I have tools and a lift.

Thanks! One of the previous owners put the wheels on "because they resemble late 60's wheels".....For now I'm going to make the 700r4 work and it has the stock 10 bolt with 3:73 gears, Auburn Posi unit, and aftermarket 28 spline axles. Hopefully that will last me for a little. I have parts to rebuild a 700r4 with the beefy sunshell, etc. My dad has a 85' Corvette that had a engine fire I thought about using the IRS out of, also have a 9 inch laying around too!
My dad is a wiring genius so he is going to do the harness lol! He took 3 Duramax harnesses and made one out of it for 2 brothers when they did Matt Hughes truck. Beyond my skill level haha!

I may go with my dad if we do not have any plans and my car is up and running good. Hopefully I get my frame and exhaust work done by then.
