Rad drain plug won't plug...
I hate to waste space on a post like this but after trying for 1/2 hour last night I cannot seem to get the rad drain-plug to plug again.
I undid it to drain the rad prior to pulling my lower base manifold. Now I am trying to put it back in but it doesn't seem to thread no matter how hard I push nor how long I turn it.
Is there some secret to this that anyone out there knows about ?
thx in advance, RP.

Is it in yet? I mean your drain plug.Memories of years past gone past i guess. Are the threads nice and clean?Might need lots of patience and persistency.Takes long enough sometimes to get the tank hooked up to the BBQ.At least for me some days.

ha ha ha ha ha ha
I am laughing already !!! Interesting notion, reverse threading ? It never occurred to me !?!?!?
Well I undid it the 'normal' way but that doesn't mean much. I will try it the other way -- just as soon as I clean up the mess from the gas pressurization test. I have to get some new anti - freeze seeing as mine is now filled with gas (gas leak dripped into the anti-freeze bucket).
I'll let you know how this mystery ends.
Hey Nathan -- first thing I'll do (after getting my SFCs installed) is head your way for a road trip (grin).

You don't want to come here with your car man.... the roads are nasty... you'd be better off going for a drive down a quarry. There is lots of sand on the roads here... unless you want your car sand blasted....
