The file location you specified needs to be in a web-based directory, not on a local drive. If you have storage space on a web server somewhere, copy the *.jpg to a directory there, then use that link in the image callout.
If you can trim the image file to something under 100Kb, you can attach it to your post.

honestly, it looks like it's sprayed with a $2 bottle of krylon.
Not my taste at all.
I have an anodized blue plate on my tb, it says BMR Fabrication.. (where I got all my suspension components from..)

I realize this is off topic and everyone's pardon, but I've been seeing this typo in mrr's sig on several sites for quite some time: 177.7hp 356.4tq. According to your own dyno sheets it's 256.
I figured it was just a typo that you would want to know about.

this is BS
ya'll are bein pretty mean to an ol country boy. i am new to this forum and i figured i might get treated a little bit better than this. the damn plate is NOT spray painted. I painted that BY HAND, letters and all. maybe i dont have thousands upon thousands of dollars or some big fancy shop like you guys to make my car run 12's or what-have-you but dammit im tryin.

I for one value your knowledge in this forum, but give the guy a break. ScreaminFormula, I personally don't find the TB plate to be my "cup of tea" sort of speak, but I do respect your efforts, and the only truly impoprtant thing is that you like it. To hell with what everyone else thinks. If I cared about that, I would have never bought a 4-door Chevelle, because on the way home from Texas, I was getting reactions like tpi-roc's all the way home. BUILD WHAT YOU WANT AND ENJOY IT!!!
On another note, you will find that although tpi_roc and the others are a little critical right now, you will find that their knowledge can be quite useful in helping you solve any problems you may encounter. I read a lot of posts and most of them are pretty sharp.
Instead of painting the background of it black, you may want to try polishing it to a high sheen and then hand painting the lettering the same color as your car. I've seen this done and it looks very sharp.

I'm going to give some constructive criticism here. I think it looks sh!tty too, but lucky for you, it's real easy to fix that problem. First, get some airplane stripper (aerosol can, Advance Autoparts, about $5) to strip off your paint. Make sure you get ALL The paint off, even from within the nooks and crannies. Once you're back to bare aluminum, sand the flat area with some 180 grit sand paper to smooth out any of the rough casting. Resand with 220 grit sand paper. Buy a spray can of automotive primer, and a spray can of gloss black paint. For this application, I'd probably use an exterior gloss black color that's available on the "touch up" rack, but black engine paint or even good old Rust Oleum will work fine.
Once it's sanded, give it a light coat of the primer and wait about a half hour, then give it another light coat. The piece should have even coverage, and if you didn't drown it in primer, should look pretty good. Give it an hour to dry, then give it 2 or 3 light coats of the black paint, again making sure not to drown it in it. Let it dry, then you have a couple choices. You can take a block sander with some 400 grit sand paper and sand the "TUNED PORT INJECTION" raised letters until you've got the bare aluminum showing through. That's easy, and looks great. Or, if you like the red, brush the red on like you did already.
For a few bucks and a little time, you can have a professional looking plate instead of one that looks like a 10 year old's art project. Best of all, you'll have all the materials in stock for when you want to paint up some other things, like brackets and pulleys.

im sorry too...
I had just had a really bad day yesterday and took it all wrong. today wasnt much better. my speed sensor let my T5 puke up all its fluid, turns out the threads had to be heilicoiled, which i did myself. then on the way to get a new speed sensor (mine only had half the gear left on it!) my clutch started slipping and a mustang gt (99-01 model) dang near outran me. turns out i need a new rear main seal and clutch, which i bought today. then when i got the darn speed sensor it DIDNT come with the drive gear so i had to go to my local friendly Pontiac dealer and order
one; i'll have a speedo again this saturday...so now i have a real busy weekend! and to top it off my platoon is running 7 miles saturday morning! well ill chat at ya'll later...
