i didnt do the research just yet but i was wondering how what i needed is the difference in intake mechanics on a tbi and a tpi...i want to buy a newer camaro and i have a tpi set up now and i want to stick with it, do i have to do a gut job or are the computers and harnesses fairly the same?...if i have to do gutting i dont want the car. i want to put my 383 stroker in and my tpi with as little modding as possible, so if somebody knows the right answers for me, then that would be awesome,....thanks guys

 

No..youll need a new computer, new harness etc..i plan to do this swap over the winter, hopefully it goes smooth

Check the tech section on the main page for TBI to TPI swap.

Wiring harness and ECM install is a "no-hack" job.

I think (but could be mistaken) someone has also used the TBI ECM and harness, maybe done some repinning, to run the TPI..it's worth a look in the Tech area to see.
