MSD Plug Wires for our TPI cars

can someone please give me the part number for the MSD wire set for our TPI cars? i have an 87 GTA if it helps. i went to autozone and they ordered a set for me, so i picked it up today. i then realized they were for a big block chevy. so we went and checked the part number and it seems this autozones mainframe is messed up. so in order for me to get the right wire set i need to come up with the right part number. can anyone help?

if you're looking for the 25' cut-to-fit set, it's part # 121-34019

90* boots - 121-3311/pair

If you just tell Summit that you have a 1991 Z-28 with TPI 350 and you want a set of super conductor MSD pre-made wires for that car, they will send you a pre-cut set already assembled with ALL 90* boots (both ends). Thats what I did.

I just ordered the universal set (you do the cutting and crimping) cause I need'd all 90 degree boots and I had to customize it for my TES headers.

Man I DID NOT LIKE those wires. The boots were weak (burned easily), it was a pain to put them together, and the wires pulled out of the boots easily. I bought a set of Taylor Cut-to-Fit sets, a Wire Crimper tool (Taylor's), and used some dielectric silicone to put them together....I simple LOVE them.

I'm not trying to make you change your mind, just thought I'd throw in my experience....if you haven't ordered yet, I highly recommend you buy a Taylor set, or a cut-to-fit Taylor set and crimping tool. You can get this stuff at Thunderracing, which is a TGO sponsor and has a banner up top /\. Just something to think about.

my HEI bolts are pretty tough... I didn't have a problem with crimping either course I used my gorilla strength to turn the vise.

I have never liked cut to fit. The numbers I listed are for premade wiresets for our TPI cars. You shouldn't have any trouble with these.

I have the MSD 8.5mm wires in black. I had to get cut-to-fit to fit on my SLP headers.

The boots are very thick and the wires are really easy to cut and fit.

I have had several sets of Taylors and they always wound up leaking voltage.

I have always had good luck with the MSD cut to fit wires. You do have to know how to crimp them properly or they will come apart.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention a thing or two. The wires themselves and their connection's didn't come apart, the boot would slip off the wire really easily. Also, the crimped connection ends bent REALLY easily - I bent them worse every time I took the boot off the plug.

A lot of guys are cool with them, a lot are not - you just have to decide what you want to do, ya know? Just thought I'd throw in my experience, so it's not really an opinion lol.
