What should I set my timing at to get the best performance out of my 92 tpi 305?

its mostly just testing different numbers to see what ur engine likes the most.

the stock should be 6 btdc at least its that for a 350 tpi.
mine seems to be set already at 8 and seems to run ok i might try 9 or 10 sometime or maybe try to go the other way.

 

It's 6 deg for the 305 too
