looking for a distributor

I need suggestions for a distributor. The thing is, I am about to put in my crate 350 (~300hp) in my '86 Caprice right now, and just run it on a carb. However, later on, I am going to convert the motor to TPI. Doesnt' the TPI require a "low-profile" distributor or something? I just want something that will work with the TPI when I install it.

anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

If you're going to carb'ed, and assuming it won't be ECM controlled, then you'll need two different distributors.

Get a vacuum advanced HEI from the pre-80's GM to run with your carb setp, the dizzy you'll use with the TPI will be ECM controlled and all advance will be cnotrolled via ECM and module.
