I am in the process of swaping a maf tpi setup off an 85 305. My camaro has a mid 70's 350 in it. I plan on using a set of summits new double hump casting. What kind of injector should i use. Also does any one have any cam recomedations. I am also having motive burn me a chip. What else do I have to do to make the 305 tpi set up work on my 350.

 

I dont mean to sound sinical ( I know learn to spell) . But how are they makeing you a chip ...without knowing what cam you got ?If I were you ....I would try and get all the hard data on your setup ....like flow numbers and stuff like that. Thennnnn go to a reputable cam company ...and ask THEM what cam you should run . Off the shelf chips are really crappy. I would learn to make my own. It has been said here that you can;t really make a chip over the phone...they need to check out what the car is doing via datalogging. then make a chip based on the data. This usually tales more than one trial and error period. If you do end up getting a chip made over the phone ...your car may run ...but the tune will be less than optimal ....and may cause issues down the road ...
