Roller or not?

It was my understanding that my 89 Firebird Formula 350 has a roller camshaft and hydraulic roller lifters from the factory.

It has been a few years, but I remember the roller lifters, on my motor, having the vertical linking-bar between them.

I just spoke with a guy from TPIS and he said that my car didn't come with vertical-linking roller lifters. Then he asked whether my cam was a flat tappet roller cam?

Can anyone please clarify for me whether or not my car came with factory vertical linking-bar roller lifters and a roller cam?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I also have a 1989 Trans Am. My car did not come with the link style connector on the roller lifters. It has the factory "spider" to hold things in place. Yours did too when new.
