pcv and ccv suggestions
Alright, I'm running a maf sensored tpi system and a HSR. Now, since i didn't origionally have TPI and it has also been over 1/2 a year since a started the swap (college...), how should I connect these systems to the valve covers...
What I'm asking for is which side needs what and what should I buy to route this to the TB? I understand I cannot use breathers b/c it will affect MAF readings. A Picture or diagram would help.
Is this the way to go? -Thanks

my two cents
This is just my two cents, but as long as you have a pcv valve from one side and a crank case "air in" line on the other, you should be all right. I'm assuming that the manifold you're using has some kind of port for the hose connection to the pcv valve. The "air in" setup on the other side should connect to hose barb on the throttle body. The centerbolt valve covers have internally baffled "boxes" inside to minimize the oil blowby that makes it through the system. If you don't use these particular valve covers, you shouldn't be concerned with this, however. I run Moroso valve covers with the factory pcv setup from the driver's side front hole to the intake manifold, and on the other side, I run a hose to a barb upstream of the supercharger (non-pressurized). For non S/C applications, you just run the hose to that barb on the throttle body. I hope this helps at least a little bit. Good luck.

Thats what I was thinking. Do you hav pictures or maybe a diagram you can send me? I'm not sure how the factory system is routed and the parts that are involved. -Thanks

Unfortuneately, I don't have any pictures. To be honest, I rigged the whole thing up using grommets that came with the new valve covers, and some elbows that I got at Pep Boys and Kragen (CSKAuto online) sold under the "Help" brand name. Your best bet is to start by measuring the inside diameter of the hole in the valve cover where your PCV valve will go, and take the valve with you to the store to aid in finding a grommet with the proper inner and outer diameters. You didn't mention whether or not you had any of the hoses for the "air in" or pcv lines, but this is secondary as finding the right grommets is pretty much the number one priority. This sounds really cheesy, I know, but mine actually turned out pretty well. It's not impossible to find these little items, sometimes the leg work can drive you a little crazy, though. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'll try to poke around and see if I saved any of the packages that stuff came in. I doubt I did but it's worth a shot. Good luck.
