simple question

I have a 91 camaro that i am doing a tpi conversion on, the only thing i am not sure about is the throttle cable
there are two different ones the 85-88 or 89-92

my car is a 91 and the throttle body is from the earlier years its the 85-88 model

What is different about the cables??

Which do i use.

thankyou.

The throttle bodies had a different lever for the cable depending on year, so cable does matter. Match cable to year of throttle.

THe 89 - up Tb had the "progressive linkage" design. - as stated, use the cable corresponding to the TB you have.

sorry

thankyou for clarifying the throttle cable i have the part number for the one i need now.

I have looked on the forum for hours and can't seem to find anywhere that says the gm part number of the tv cable for a 700r4.

i know there is only one for the tpi but i went to the dealership and they tried to sell me the tbi one because that is what my vin said.

Can anyone tell me the part number??
much appreciated
