a while back i had everyone helping me diagnose a miss. like everyone said it was bad injectors, filled with rust and setiment. i have completely flushed the fuel system so its all good now.
i just bought a set of lt1 injectors from a running motor and have installed 7 of them into my fuel rails, which leads me to my question! i broke a retainer clip, nobody has them and i dont feel like waiting 2 weeks and paying 15 dollars for a set from ebay. since auto parts places dont stock them, i was curious as to wether i can go forward without one. there doesnt seem to be any excess slop, but does anyone know for sure? help!!!!!!!

If you have a good auto parts store locally, they will have them.

 

i used the search button (which i shouldve done in the first place) and have come to the conclusion that they are not terribly nesc. and no, i live in a small mountain town,, i dont really have a good selction here

 

Yeah Newport is small. I get off I-40 and pick up 25E there, when I drive to Indiana.
