Injectors
Hey guys,
I'm replacing my stock injectors in my 92 gta with Ford Motorsport 24# blue tops. I'm going to be going to kragen or napa to pick up a new fuel rail o-ring kit and the rings from the new injectors are 'like new'.
I'm also thinking I need to check my fuel pressure and it might be handy to hookup a gauge and mount it somewhere in my dash. Anybody done this and have some info to share? A good afpr to buy also?
The engine will be a zz4 aluminum heads / cam / completely rebuilt with a aftermarket tpi on top.

Just hook a fuel pressure gauge up under the hood and fire up the car, and see what the gauge reads (vacuum line disconnected from fpr).
You can rev and hold the rpms if you wish, rev it good and see if the rpm's drop.

I was going to do this in my gauge pod but the isolator kit to keep fuel from coming inside the car is expensive. I ended up going with a 2 5/8 in gauge and plan to mount it with a U bracket on the hood. We did the same with a friends 98 Mustang and he gets compliments for the old school look all the time, people think it's a tach. A cowl hood is great for mounting gauges like the fuel pressure or NOS pressure because you can sheild the gauges and still be able to see them.
