Cold start injector? Need some help on this

Ok here is the deal, i just got my 87IROC, the guy that had it put a 350/superram/lots of other goodies on it. Here is his webpage. www.geocities.com/leeson.rm

now my question is the 87 HAD a cold start injector. The previous owner removed it and never put one back on?
Do i need one on there or could it be ran without it?
Maybe deprogram it from the computer?

Brendan

you do not need it, it is not run off the computer,, its run off the thermo time switch, located in the front of the intake manifold next to the coolant temp sensor.. cold starting might take longer without the injector feeding extra gas.
good luck

Thanks Ron... i am just trying to figure out what the problem is with the car, it through spark timing curve codes and other ignition codes. It has the stock 305tpi chip in it now and DEFINATLY needs a custom one.

Is it not idling at all and basically has very poor driveability? Set your tps to .35 and watch how much it improves. You may have to take a soldering iron or drill to open up the tps slots, but it's worth it.
