Dont even bother with that oddball combination. Get a 350, or a 383. Its cheaper and you'll make more power.

Yes, it has been done, I am building one at this time, and are planning to install a ATI supercharger. You can get a kit from Powerhouse that includes a new crank, rods, KB pistons, gaskets, bearings, and rings for about $600. For $200 dollars more they will ship it to you already balanced, which is a good bargain, better than taking it to a machine shop and paying by the hour. Powerhouse is well known for good kits. It is true that a 350 or 383 will make more power but at the cost of mileage. You can build a good 335 with a tpi that will produce over 400 horsepower and around 500 pounds of torque, and still knock down good mileage. You can get a catalog at www.enginekits.com . The kit feature the same pistons you are refering to with 5.7 inch rods.
