LG4 conversion - fuel lines.

My '85 LG4 has a 3/8" supply line and a 5/16" return line back to the tank. Can I re-use these lines when I convert to TPI so long as I change the fittings or do I need to run totally new lines? Anyone else done this conversion? What did you do with these lines?

When I converted my 89 TB to TPI, I ended up swapping out the fuel lines, because I wanted to keep all the emmissions equipment. The charcoal canister is located on the opposite side of the car with TPI, so the return line to the tank was very different. When I had both sets of lines out of the car, I put them side by side for comparison, and did not see any difference at all for the fuel lines.
They appear to be the same diameter, length, fittings, etc. Even the flexible lines in the engine compartment were identical.
I don't know if the 85 is the same as the 89, but if is is, you should be fine.

The question is are the fuel lines, specifically the flex lines, strong enough to withstand the 45+ PSI of pressure. Thats the only thing l would worry about.
