Computer Chip Change?

Car: 1988 IROC Z
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Computer Chip Change?
My question is do I have to get a new prom if I change to a ZZ3 camshaft? I am staying with same rocker arms and heads other than they will be ported and have one size bigger valves. Will it cause my engine to run poorly if I don't change the prom or will the stock prom handle it? I am trying to keep costs down being I just bought it and it needs body work in the front end to boot. Trying to bring it back from the dead, no IROC-Z should be layed to rest before its time. Thanks for the help.

I dont think you rarely ever have to go to a new PROM. The real question is how fast do you want to go? 
I guarantee that youll see much better gains going to an aftermarket PROM rather than using the stock chip.
