Serious Fuel Problem Somewhere!!! Need Help!!!

Ok, the car keeps wanting to shut off on me. Something is wrong with my fuel system somewhere and if anyone has had this problem please help. My SERVICE ENGINE light is on. I've changed my fuel filter and it ran fine but then it has started acting up again.

Re: Serious Fuel Problem Somewhere!!! Need Help!!!

Ok, first off, welcome to TGO.

Secondly, calm down, go grab a beer or something.

Thirdly, we need more info than "My car wont run!! WHY ?!?!" WHat are you working on? An 87 Firebird, or a moped? What type of car you have and the engine (and whatever else you can supply) are pretty much required information to help troubleshoot anything.

How do you know it's a fuel problem? Have you checked the fuel pressure? What is it? Have any leaks? Have any gas in the tank?

If the check engine light is on, its on for a reason what codes are you getting?
