Do LT1 Injectors work on a TPI?

Yes, I have LT1 24lb injectors in my ZZ4TPI set up. They work/fit fine. I would not recommend them unless you really need the extra gas. 22lb injectors are usually sufficient.

Rob, what cam are you running? Do you feel that you needed the 24# injectors with a stock ZZ4 longblock and aftermarket TPI?

The ZZ4 is running the ZZ3 cam. Thinking back, I probably could have stayed with the 22lb injectors I had. I just wanted to be sure I didn't run lean and I got a good deal on the LT1 injectors.
So in the future when I upgrade to a LT4 Hot Cam and 1.6rr I'll be ready.

Would LT1 injectors be fine on a stock 350? It's NOT an L98 - it's the 88 Impala motor in my '80, so it has a smaller cam and different heads. Mods are nice ignition, and headers. I plan to get this TPI swap done as soon as i get the fuel pump and lines.

Steve, maybe if you run an adj FPR and back the pressure off. What size did the motor come stock with? Probably 22s I would guess.

This motor never came with TPI, only TBI. I just picked up a '86 complete TPI setup for it, and since i'm not going to go nuts with it, i'll probably just use the 305 injectors. The only thing that bugs me is that on the bottom of one of the injectors there was a small piece of plastic hanging down.. Oh well, first I have to have the intake drilled to fit later heads
