MAF screens Remove?

Should i remove my MAF screens on my 88' iroc 350. If i do so will it ruin the MAF sensor. Also what kind of gains will i get out of it?? I heard they are very restrictive. Any suggestions??

you can remove them but make sure you have a good air filter like a K&N or accel. you will get about 50 cfm as for HP it depends on your combo.

Do a search. Im sure if you type in 'screens' you will get a bunch of results.

Some have problems, some dont. I always take mine out, never have had a problem.
