TPI Engine Pic

Well, I finally got some pics of my engine and thought I'd share them. I think it turned out great. Daniel Burk did the powder coating and porting work on the system.

Here is the link ( I hope it works)

That looks pretty good. Just get some of that stuff out of the engine bay and you will have a really nice setup.

A couple hints from a guy that has an '87 v-belt system as well:

If you can, cut off the AIR pipes from the headers and have the holes welded shut. It is amazing how easily it is to get to your plugs after that and how much it cleans up the engine bay.

You can get almost all of the A/C brackets off of the driver side head and retain the power steering pump bracketing system.

Is that a smog pump I see in there? That, and all of its brackets have to go.

You can bypass the TB coolant and re-route the heater hose from the intake to the heater control valve and move the valve itself to the passenger rear of the engine bay.

After all of that stuff is removed, along with what you have already removed, you will be shaving a good 100 lbs off the front of the car (The A/C compressor and the smog pump are freakin heavy aren't they!!!! ..... than add all the brackets, bolts, belts, A/C condensor.....etc.)

Keep up the good werk.....
