If the replacement Maf was a micro tech or wells, has a circuit board/heatsink chip type, they will run rich at idle and stall when put in drive. they read more Grams per sec at same rpm as bosch making ecm run wider injector pulse (richer)

^ Try resetting the ECM by disconnecting battery for a few minutes, then allow the system to relearn everything. If only the MAF was replaced, and everything else worked fine before-hand, you might have purchased a defective MAF sensor in it's place....

I am not sure of the differance on output of different Maf part numbers. But
have tried different mafs on the same car one after another to see what worked. all idled okay stock 350 stock bua corvette. One style bosch the sensor wire was Horizonal in V type holder the other style was vertical. Age causes more variance peak grams per sec was 187 205 and 255.
