Just Noticed This!? MAP?

I was reading info on my scanner the other day and realized it was reading voltage from what it said was a MAP sensor.
My car is a MAF car and i thought they didn't have MAP sensors? Why was it getting voltage and if it isn't a MAP, what is it? The voltage was slow to change, but did fluctuate. It read like 2.14 and changed a little under throttle.
Help me out. I'm confused.

well my guess would be the same reason that in the books, the MAF and the MAP sensor are both under the same code. like when the checck engine lights comes on an u decode it, my chiltons manual says that code is either for the MAP or the MAF, whichever u have, im guessing its the same thing with ur scanner. just a thought though.

Good thought, probably true.

Rest assured, your TPI car doesnt have a MAP if it has a MAF. Unless some guy swapped in a turbo buick setup and added 2 injectors and didnt tell anyone...

I figured it didn't have one but there are separate readings for MAF and the so-called MAP sensor.
The MAF reading is accurate and acts as it should, I'm just trying to figure out where the voltage from this "MAP" sensor is coming from.-it's reading something.
