Transmission: 700r4
Add HP!
I will soon be swapping a 350 TPI from a 85 Corvette into my 1987 Iroc-Z. What are some good mods I should do right away? Or while the engine is out?
Looking to get it up to 300 HP if possible. I'm going to have around 800 bucks to spend.

I would put a cam in it and a get a set of heads. A full exhaust from the headers back would work good also.

Oh alright. I don't know a lot about engines. What kind of cam should I get? I really like that choppy idol.

The one that I use to have was the ZZ9 camshaft from TPIS. It will work with the stock valvetrain and has a nice idle. If you do full exhaust zz9 cam and a good set of heads you could get 300 rwhp with that motor. I did
