Will this combo work?

Here are the parts I want to get to beef up my TPI system:

- Edelbrock high flow base
- BBK AFPR
- SLP Runners
- Fully ported plenum
- 52mm holley TB
- Haven't decided injectors yet. Will research that when I finally get the 305 "built".

I already have the SLP runners and the fully ported plenum installed. My question, is that I have read in several places that the SLP runners and edelbrock base WILL NOT work together because of clearance issues, but I have seen a couple people who use this combo. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks.

Re: Will this combo work?

why spend in edelbrok base when you can port you factory one with excellent results? i ran 12s with factory ported base.
