87 305 tpi problems
my 87 iroc 305 tpi misses and blows black smoke out the exhaust pipes. I have to pump the throttle to get it started. It ran good for a while then it started acting up. I've had the battery out a couple times. I'm not sure where to start. Any suggestions?

it could be missing because of over fueling or it could be ignition causing the misfire. i would look at the ignition system, make sure everything is in good condition. check codes. then look into the fuel system. injectors go bad over time.

I would do a tune up, run some injector cleaner through the system, and check the timing. I have mine set at 6 degrees, and I have no problems.
