Today I got in my car, It started fine, idled great, drove it 10 miles, shut it down for 20 minutes. Got back in and fired it up. Started hard! Cranked it over and it would only run, or start with the the pedal down. I kept it running and drove it back the 10 miles, it ran great all the way back and idled and restarted just fine on arrival. Is it the I.A.C? I was nervous when it happened. Thanks for your input. Randy

 

Did the SES light come on? Any codes?

 

thanks for replying! no ses or anything else. after I got on the road, up to speed I had no problems. I have not driven it since so I don't know if it went away, but I like to just jump in and take off occasionally and this makes me nervous. I will drive it to work tomorrow and see what happens. I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else. Once again, thanks! I'll keep you posted. Randy

 

I hope for you it works O-K, because with a problem that comes and goes with no codes is going to be a bear to figure out. Could be IAC, but there again it should have thrown a code. Good luck.

 

Thank's for the reply! I drove the car today, no problems. But, I guess that I've learned that these intermitent problems do not just go away. I guess I'll keep on driving it until it happens again. If it a'int broke, you can't fix it. Randy
