i have a 83 z28 that had a carb 305 in it with a 5spd, i picked up a complete 391 stroker motor with a HSR installed wiring harness and ECM with Programable prom this combo came out of a friends 1991 trans am gta, my queation is i would like to use the harness that came with the motor instead of buying a new harness thats last on my list, i have searched about what to do with swapping the harness into my car, i was thinking about making my own standlone harness but dont know where to start, if i could get some help that would be great i like to get this swap under way very soon.
