Where does this vac line connect?

On a stock TPI setup, where does this vac line connect? I heard a strange noise, found it was my PCV valve rattling. This line is pulling some serious vac. I belive it should be routed to booster?

Re: Where does this vac line connect?

Both the vacuum booster and pcv receive manifold vacuum signal. That port you pointed to is the vacuum signal for the pcv. Replace your pcv valve.

Thats right, I guess i should have trusted myself -thats where I connected it when it all went together originally....PCV checked out ok, but replaced it anyway. The vac line was very pliable & could be pinched together easily. I installed I piece of heavy 3/8 line on there now. No noise at this time.

Yes, FJ40 I put the TPI in a couple years back. Had a brain fart yesterday though, Lol. Good luck. Its an easy swap really...

I just finished a Serp conv. I still had the V belts. Now the rig has TPI from a vette, and the serp setup from a Camaro. Had to adapt a Sanden a/c compressor over also(air compressor) of course the upper rad hose didnt work with the serp either, fan & water P rotation, alt moved, etc...Change one thing, and it snowballs into half a dozen others...fun, fun.

That works also but sometimes the tune needs a bit of a tweak on a MAF car. Not sure on th SDs.
