Idles wonderful... seems a little rough under load

Car: 1987 IROC Z28
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: TKO 600
Axle/Gears: 3.45 (G92 package)
Idles wonderful... seems a little rough under load
Sat all winter; new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil... 255 lph fuel pump, and set the pressure at 50 psi...
87 IROC lb9 modded with mild cam, headers.... was running like crap when I put it away. Turned out to be the fuel pump. With the tune up and new pump/holly regulator it fires up like never before and idles beautiful. Seems a little rough as RPMs increase. Feels like it doesn't have QUITE the power it had a few years ago when I first bought it and it was running awesome. But still pretty good.
Anyone else ever had this "rough" feeling on acceleration? I can't tell if it's real or just in my head. Suggestions?

Fuel pressure may be too high.

i was thinking that... or maybe still too low? We're going to run a datalog and get some readings... With the mods I have, and the over bore... from what I read 50 is a good starting point...

For reference, I'm running Bosch III injectors ( 19 Lb) on an L31 350 with LT1 cam at 50 PSI. On a 305, I think you will find a lower pressure should suffice. Data logging should give you the answer
